Optical Sorting: Increased Cullet Recycling And Reduced Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Binder & Co is an Austrian company providing key equipment and plant for ecology glass cullet sorting processes. Today the input material has changed from the beginning of glass recycling plants in the 1980s with different contaminants such as heat resistant glass joining the circuit, which can crate problems for the typical glass container manufacturer. The company has developed over the past years, different opto-electronic sorting systems capable of in-house detection systems that can recognize colour, consistency and transparency by using the most modern sensor techniques and engineering combined with the technical know-how for customised systems.
