Optical-Quality Headaches: A Problem Solved

An on-line integrated defect and optical quality float-glass inspection system is eliminating headaches for both glassmakers and car drivers. Until now glassmakers have only been able to meet their customers' increasingly stringent optical-quality requirements by manually measuring optical quality off-line by using the so-called "zebra" test.
