Optical Properties Of Pr3+ Ions In Lithium Borate Glasses

The absorption spectra of Pr3+ are studied inthe following lithium borate glasses: MCO3+Li2CO3+H3B03, where M=Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba. The observed band positions are analysed in terms of a parameterised Hamiltonian model that consists of 14 interaction parameters of atomic nature.
