Oneida And Anchor Hocking License Agreement On Foodservice Glassware

Oneida Ltd and Anchor Hocking Co, announced on 18 November, 2004 that they have entered into a licensing agreement for glass products for use in the food service industry. Under the agreement, the two companies food service glassware lines will be consolidated and going forward will be co-branded as Anchor Glass/Oneida. Sales under the agreement commenced 1 Feb/05. The alliance brings together the Oneida Foodservice Divsion's channel-focused sales organisation, specifically for chain restaurants, hotels and gaming establishments and transportation markets such as airlines and cruise lines. Together, the association will create a full assortment of stemware, barware, serveware, and specialty glass items. Anchor Hocking also welcomed the addition of products by Italy's Bormioli to the new glassware line.
