Mr. Gudrat Kerimov, the Chairman of Khazar OJSC said that Oka could make blue, green, yellow & red glass in four specially built furnaces which can produce 1,500 colored glass items daily. The company has already produced 40,000 items of this kind & exported them to Turkey & France. "We expect to achieve large output & export of our product, which is of high quality & safe for the environment," Mr. Kerimov noted. The glass can be used to make chandeliers, souvenirs, house appliances, dishes, etc. It is said to be 30-40% cheaper than similar goods made abroad.
