Nucleation And Growth Kinetics Of Lithium Disilicate And Lithium Metasilicate In Lithia-Silica Glasses

Crystal nucleation and growth rates in lithia silica glasses containing 33.33, 36.0 and 40.0 MOL% lithia were determined by optical microscopy techniques and correlated with x-ray diffraction and differential thermal analysis results.
