Nox Reduction (In Italian And English)

Increasing awareness of the need to reduce environmental pollution from industrial plant has led to a tightening up of the emission regulations in many countries. In the glass industry this has led to the need to introduce waste gas treatment equipment, such as electrostatic filters. However, the oxides of nitrogen, collectively referred to as NOx, are rather difficult to remove from the waste gases. This paper looks at various methods of preventing the formation of NOx in the first place.
