In this article, the USA's Glass Packaging Institute checks on public preferences related to food and beverage containers. It goes without saying that packaging matters to consumers. Within the glass industry, it is often said that the container for food or drink can be just as important to the consumer as what is inside. The Glass Packaging Institute considers it important to quantify that sentiment and to do that, they partnered with EcoFocus Worldwide, a US expert in surveying consumers on a range of issues, particularly related to how consumers are trying tomake their homes healthier and friendlier to the environment.
