No Lead, No Barium...No Crystal?

The Swedish Glass Research Institute, Glafo, has been working on substitutes for lead in crystal for the past four years. As well as the now familiar "barium crystal" composition, Glafo's researchers have developed a non-barium alternative which uses not one but a whole range of substitute elements.
