Bystronic has opened a new training centre; the first students to use the facility were the employees of glass producer Glass Systems from Wales. The centre includes an insulating glass line, which students can use to put the theory they have just learned into practice. The training includes learning basic functions, fault rectification and operator maintenance of the machines. Roland Maisenbacher, Training Manager at Bystronic, commented: "Customers don't expect our service to end at the factory gate. That's why we offer them continual support in the use of products from the Bystronic Glass group range. This does not just incorporate a knowledge of the machines but includes an understanding on the best operating and maintenance techniques."
