New Tandem Perovskite Solar Cell Could Outrank Silicon'S Efficiency And Stability

Researchers from Stanford University (CA) and Oxford University (UK) recently joined forces to create a new perovskite design they say "could outperform existing commercial technologies," according to a recent news article. The team used tin and other abundant elements to create a new photovoltaic crystalline material that is thinner, more flexible and easier to scale-up than silicon, according to the article.
