New Standard Could Cost Manufacturers Up To £20M

Rick Wilberforce, who heads parliamentary lobbying for Pilkington, has told ministers and MPs that current proposals for new fire test standards within the EU could conceivably cost manufacturers up to £20m to re-test products, even though many products are already fully tested to acceptable national standards and have been well proven.
