A New Quality Assurance Strategy By Using The Heye Process Control System For Lightweight Hap Forming Process

The Heye Process Control is a control and visualisation system which supports the forming process in the blank mould of an IS machine. Bottle defects arising during parison forming are recognised and rejected in connection with the E-Timing Hot End Ware Reject. Thereby, Process Control becomes a highly efficient inspection machine. This article describes the system and its operation as a process and quality control tool for the production of lightweight glass containers using the press and blow forming process.
