Allied Glass Containers has recently developed the range of containers it supplies to the Moscow-based Russian Standard Company, with the production of a new proprietary flask for their premium spirit, Russian Standard Vodka. The 375ml flasks were inspired by the existing range of containers supplied by Allied, and therefore use the same shape inspired by the giant bell in the Kremlin, intricate embossing and Thermalcure glass coating to reflect the premium nature of the product. Phillip Morris, sales manager, says: "The close partnership we have fostered with he Russian Standard Company enabled us to quickly take the bottles from their initial concepts through to the finished containers. Our CAD/CAM facilities also made it possible for us to visualise the facets of the new flasks, ensuring the brand's stylish and distinctive packaging was maintained".
