Sheppee International has launched the MRS 9000 lehr loader, a new low cost and flexible two axis servo driven machine that can operate at up to 12 cycles per minute. Other recent ware handling developments from Sheppee include the high speed ware transfer unit HST 6000. The machine can handle bottles and jars at more than 600 bottles per minute. It has variable finger spacing to cut users' need to hold stocks of different chain assemblies. Another recent product from Sheppee is the FT 7000, a transfer unit designed to handle non-round and flask containers. This machine has an action that positions bottles at 45 degrees on the cross conveyor providing greater stability and better handling and annealing.
