When there is a need to finish machine bores less than 1.5mm in diameter, the usual methods very soon reach their limits. A new method, based on wire lapping with diamond, opens up completely new possibilities here. In the method known as micro bore sizing (mbs), the lapping wire and workpiece are guided, moved and sized in such a way as to take full advantage of the potential of the lapping process.
