New Opal-Glass Production Strengthens Gerresheimer'S Momignies Plant

New high-performance melting and production facilities for fine white and cream coloured opal glass were commissioned recently at Gerresheimer's Belgian subsidiary, Nouvelles Verreries des Momignies SA. The new facilities, which replace an older plant, will in future be able to produce around 150M opal-glass containers for the worldwide cosmetics and perfumery markets. The investment also confirms the importance of the Belgian production location in the costmetics sector of the Gerresheimer Group. Type III, clear, feeder colored and opal is also produced.
