New Generation Forming Lubricant

Batoyle has introduced Pontus GBF, a new generation scoop/gob accelerator lubricant that boasts outstanding health & safety attributes, superior lubrication properties & ultra-low carbon forming tendencies. Engineered for glass container production, Pontus GBF is a fully synthetic, ashless, water-based formula that reduces dramatically the fire hazard that can be experienced using a conventional mineral oil lubricant in scoop & gob accelerator applications. Pontus has been formulated to eliminate the flashing effect & to reduce dramatically the fire risk around the IS machine. Field tests have been conducted in conjunction with UK glassmaker Allied Glass.
