New Factory For Bormioli Rocco & Figlio

A recent agreement for the construction of a new factory for Bormioli Rocco & Figlio was announced by the mayor of Abbiategrasso, nr Milan. The agreement means that some of the 200 workers will be moved to Parma, where the glassworks was founded, while 100 people will start working in the factory at Mendosio. "This is an important goal for Abbiategrasso," said the mayor of Albetti, according to whom the company has also said it will hire new personnel if the economic cycle allows it. The Municipality had already decided to take action to support the workers of Bormioli, after redundancy had been set up again in Feb/07 after a previous period of 13 weeks which ended in Dec/06.
