New Developments In The Purification Of Waste Water From The Ceramics Industries

This paper describes the legislation and the technical possibilities which must be taken into consideration in the treatment and discharge of waste water emanating from ceramic production processes. The feasible recycling rates for the purified water and the sludge are given with reference to specific examples. In a concluding outlook, procedures will be described which could be important in the future.
