After a change of ownership in Oct/06, a new era for Hungarian R-glass (formerly, ST Glass Hollowglass) has begun. The only producer of machine & handmade houseware glass in Hungary, with over 130 years history, now has a clear strategy for the future. By means of innovation, & following consumer trends, the aim is to fill market niches with unique products supported by flexibility & a high level of customer services. As one of the few EU glass producers able to melt different colours, R-Glass will now use this ability even more so under its own brand name, ST Glass, & continuously develop new designs. Some of these new collections will be presented at Ambiente 2007. The machine-made range includes blown tumblers with elegant shapes, pressed blown tumblers specifically produced for customer demands, machine-made stemware, & pressed barware and giftware. Beer glasses "fit for purpose" i.e. glasses big enough to hold its head, are presented also.
