PowerGlaz, a laminated glass that incorporates BP solar photovoltaic cells, is set to bring down the cost of solar electric technology. The glass, which offers striking design features when integrated into buildings, is described as a significant step forward in the evolution of solar power. Easy to install, it will serve the dual purpose of replacing conventional glazing materials while harnessing energy from natural light to produce clean electricity.
