New Automatic Batch Building Option

Ashton Industrial discusses new developments for the automatic arrissing process in this article. Special features include automatic measuring of glass panes during the arrissing process. These are then automatically accumulated into multiple rows on a batching conveyor which pass through a washing and drying machine onto a buffer station where they wait to be called into the furnace. A bypass mode allows manual building of complete batches of pre-processed glass, such as edge polished or drilled. The batches are then staged at three predetermined parking positions as they pass through the line, bypassing the arrissing stations to the washer and into the furnace.
