New Approach To Batch Charging

While the performance of refractory materials, along with tools and techniques, have been improved and implemented, one of the areas of glass melting that has not seen any kind of benefit is that of charging materials into the furnace. In this article, Italian-based Glass Technologies shows how this area can be improved with effective distribution of raw material onto the molten glass surface inside the tank, thanks to its sealed dog-house charging machine.
