Natural Ventilation In The Glassworks - Can It Be Controlled?

The question raised in the title can be tricky, according to the author of this paper. Because ventilation is natural, it seems tat plant operators cannot have an impact on it. They can, however, because every typical window can be opened or closed and if there are many of them, it is possible to open some or all. A second question is: What is this operation for? To exchange the indoor air with fresh air, to lower the indoor temperature or is there something else?
