Multi-Layered Glass Windscreens Impact Behaviour

The use of an indirect method during ballistic-type tests on multi-material plates is presented in this article. A description is made of an analytical indirect method based on the knowledge of radial and tangential strains of a circular plate struck in its centre. The authors applied this method to tests carried out on aluminium plates and on plates which consisted of different materials stacking.
