Moving Forward

Dartington Crystal has unveiled an ambitious expansion plan. The company, which was acquired by the US corporation Enesco a year ago, plans to increase its product range and build on its appeal to visitors. Alongside Dartington is Royal Brierley, which came under the Enesco umbrella recently. The companies are importing new designs for everyday use in drinkware and gift ranges from Easter European countries. A new art glass range offers bright colours from Poland and China. They have also become distributors for two European manufacturers; from Germany they distribute 24% lead crystal and from Portugal fused formed glass.
