More Welsh Glass Recycling

Recresco has opened a recycling plant at Springvale Industrial State, Cwmbran, in order to reprocess glass from across south Wales and surrounding areas. Previously, Wales only had one MRF processing glass. Capable of processing 10 tonnes of glass by colour each hour, the plant is currently operating at 50% capacity. However, full capacity is expected by the end of the year and could be up to 100,000/tpa. Recresco site manager Karl Frenton said: "This facility will reprocess locally sourced waste glass and reuse it in local businesses."
