A Minerals Year In Review: 2004

With the publication of a number of full year 2004 financial results in February and March this year, this article reviews last year's performance of four listed companies which, between them, possess a diverse range of industrial minerals assets. They include leading soda ash, barium/strontium, PCC and fluorine chemicals producer Solvay SA, bentonite, perlite and bauxite supplier, S&B Industrial Minerals SA, limestone and lime products group Nordkalk Corp., and global bentonite major Amcol International.
