The list of industrial minerals in NSW with potential for expanded production, further processing to a range of value-added products, or as a foundation for new entries into the market is long, and includes many of the most commonly traded commodities. This article looks at the minerals of NSW (excluding construction materials and gem stones) and reports, in approximate order of importance, in terms of current and potential economic significance.
