[Middle East] Ppg & Efg Sign Agreement For New Plant

Emirates Float Glass (EFG) has announced that it has signed a technology licensing agreement with PPG Industries for its second float glass manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. The entire project comprises two factories with a combined production capacity of 1,200/tpd. Construction of the second plant has been awarded to Italian Ianua SpA. EFG also announced that it has scheduled to expand its operations further by setting up a number of related value added & special product glass processing facilities in response to the expected growing consumer demand over the next 2-3 years.
