Method Of Producing Strong Foams Glass Bodies And Strucutre Procduced Therby.

The method comprises forming glass pellets, each having a fused generally impervious outer glass skin integral with foamed cellular glass filling and reinforcing the outer skin, and fusing together the outer skins of a number of pellets to form a body and leave interconnected interstitial voids communicating with the exterior surface of the body. These interstitial voids are then impregnated with a cementitious material.
