A Method For Determining The Strength Of Cohesion Between Glass And Metal In Inconsistent Junctions

A new structure of a specimen of glass-metal junction for studying the cohesive strength between the components is suggested. The structure eliminates the effect of inconsistent TCLEs of the connected materials and does not contain geometric defects that decrease the reliability of the test results. In contrast to the known structures, the new specimen contains metal in the form of fine spheres uniformly distributed in the mass of the glass.
