[Melting] A Superior Melt With Molybdenum

According to the author of this paper, molybdenum is an excellent choice electrode material for glass melting applications. The chemical and metallurgical characteristics, along with the mechanical and physical properties of molybdenum, produce a higher quality glass melting electrode. Although molybdenum has enjoyed widespread use in glass melting for years, the high temperature metallurgical processing required to produce molybdenum glass melting electrodes has remained relatively unknown and limited to a few companies.
