Mechanism Of Oxygen Diffusion In Glassmelts Containing Variable-Valence Ions

A mechanism is proposed to describe the influence of redox reactions, which involve variable-valence ions, on the diffusional mass transport of molecular dissolved oxygen in glass melts.
