Mathematical Modelling For The Identification Of Defect Bubble Sources

This article describes the calculation procedures which make it possible to identify the bubble source location in a furnace. The results are supported by examples using the simulated bubble analyses and two modelled bubble sources: bach decomposition and air releasing from the pores of refractory materials. The necessary precision of the bubble model and its verification procedures are also discussed.
