Material Solution For Thermal Management Issues

A graphitic carbon foam has been developed in the USA which has a very high thermal conductivity and high thermal diffusivity, making it ideal for the transfer of hot glass and for other applications in the glass plant. Tests of the material have already been carried out and full scale production will begin at the end of the year.
