Material Dispersion And Spectral Dependence Of Photorefractive Effect In Silica Glasses For Fibre Optics

An experimental technique which allows the measurement, with an accuracy of 10-4, in a spectral window 300-2600nm is reported. The technique is based on the "classic" method of white light decomposition on a small prism cut from a fibre preform. The dispersion curves in different silica-based glasses for fibre optics were accurately measured.
