Glass bottle manufacturer Malaya Vietnam Glass, which started operations in March 1995, has a current output of 160 tonnes per day. In only its first seven months of production, the joint venture company achieved profits of US$0.7m, which has led to forecasts of an annual turnover of US$20m.
