Complex bottle shapes are a challenge for glass decorators, but new highly-motorised, servo-driven screenprinting machines provide a level of flexibility that cannot be reached with mechanically-driven machines. The high level of computer control ensures that changeover times can be kept short; the screen printer is aided by the computer and is able to focus on printing, rather than machine setting. This article describes how computer controlled and servo-driven print movements can be used in decoration. For more information see: www.isimat.com
