Luxcrete - A Stylish Century

Formed in 1898 as the British Luxfer Prism Syndicate Ltd, established with the objective of throwing available natural light into the dark interiors of factories and basement areas of densely built city buildings, any company's survival for a century is no mean feat. But when it is working in an industry snared in vast numbers of building, fire, health and safety regulations, using contracts of such tortuosity that many a lawyer has grown fat on them and has witnessed bewildering technological advances, such endurance becomes remarkable. A century after the company, now known as Luxcrete, is still able to describe itself as a leader in its specialist field.
