As part of a new generation of swabbing compounds, Interglass has developed a line of products for the specific demands of the perfume & pharmaceutical glass sectors, where the finish of the glass container is critical. Glassmold SGA (light) & Glassmold SGR (heavy) have been developed in order to meet the specific demands of the perfume, cosmetics & pharmaceutical industries, where the appearance of the glass container is critical. The products are suitable for the forming of a wide variety of perfume containers of all sizes, & for cosmetic, liquor bottles & food items where a clean, high-gloss finish is required. The swab compounds also offer the versatility to be used on both blanks & blow moulds. Their use has shown to increase swabbing cycles, thus avoiding premature build up on the blank cavity as well as on the mould side & increasing their lifespan.
