Low Iron Benefits

Ankerpoort NV has been processing Hydroxal for the glass industry since 2009. Hydroxal V 200 is produced from aluminium hydroxide and was developed for the introduction of aluminium to batch. It combines a high aluminium content with good solubility in the glass melting furnace. In this article the author presents aluminium and manganese-based raw material additions for glass batches and their benefits.
