Off-Line Measuring Systems For Glass Containers

Measuring instruments in an off-line environment require a very high level of achievement. The measured results are often used for statistical process control and line monitoring, and provide direct feedback to the machine operator. As such, a very high accuracy and repeatability of the measuring instruments are required. Traditional gauging methods have been overtaken by automatic, contactless, camera-based measuring instruments.
