[Libbey Mexico] Evolving To Serve Global Markets

In 2006, USA-based Libbey Inc acquired full ownership of Mexico's specialist household glassware producer, Crisa. Producing both soda lime and borosilicate compositions, today Libbey Mexico operates arguably the largest output tableware facility in the Western Hemisphere. Later in 2013, the company will rebuild and significantly expand an existing soda lime furnace using the latest melting technology for gas furnaces.
