Libbey In Discussion To Buy Remaining 51% Of Vitrocrisa

Vitro SA and Libbey Inc are pursuing the possible purchase by Libbey of the remaining 51% of the shares in Vitrocrisa, the largest manufacturer of glass tableware in Latin America. Vitrocrisa is a joint venture between Libbey and Vitro, with Libbey currently owning 49% of the shares. Libbey also is exclusive distributor of Vitrocrisa's products in the USA and Canada.
