Leeman Seeks $1.5M In Attorney Fees From Coca-Cola For Mexican Coke Bottles

Prop 65 plaintiff Whitney Leeman is seeking $1.56M in attorney fees for her role in initiating a Prop 65 action against The Coca-Cola Company that was taken over & settled by CA Attorney General J Brown & LA City Attorney R Delgadillo. The $2M settlement included the largest civil penalty in Prop 65 history & included provisions whereby Coca-Cola agreed to shift to the use of unleaded colors at its Mexico plants & phase out almost all existing refillable glass bottles with lead-bearing decorations.
