A new combustion engineering firm has been set up - Global Combustion Systems is owned by Iain Shoveller, Peter Finlay & Dick Pont, who have over 30 years experience in the glass industry. The company will be based in Callander, Scotland. They aim to provide a highly knowledgeable and technical company providing specialist knowledge in combustion systems for the glass & steel industries. Global Combustion Systems will provide the following services: A new generation of Low NOx burners for glass melting and conditioning systems, complete fuel system design and manufacture, onsite servicing of combustion systems, combustion systems audits and furnace control systems, as well as others.
