Due for launch at Glasstec 2002, the Alpha 315 from Z Bavelloni allows glass sheet sizes up to 3000mm x 1500mm to be machined with ease. The machine has a number of features in common with its sister machines, the ALPA 250 and 320, which are recognised for their performance, flexibility and reliability. The 315 has the same main components as the 250 and 320, including the spindle, motor drive, guides, axis movement, NC, work surface, tools and options. It also benefits from increased maximum working sizes and a 22-positoin tool store. All machines are sold upgrade-ready for a fourth axis as standard and at no extra charge. All Alpha range models are now supplied with thermoformed ABS work head coverings, an upgrade from previous painted steel coverings.
