Laser Cutting Technology Testing On Site

German flat glass machinery manufacturer Grenzebah is now offering a unique opportunity for all its customers to test and see for themselves the newly developed LiST laser cutting method - at their own plant, under their own production conditions. LiST laser cutting technology was presented to the general public for the first time during the 2004 edition of Glasstec, within a "glass technology live" exhibition area. According to the firm, this method offers numerous advantages and will considerably change the configuration of glass cutting equipment. The edge quality of laser cut glass is completely free of micro scratches, chips and flakes. Consequently, scratches on the glass surface are avoided. With laser cut glass, breaking resistance of the plate edge is up to three times higher than with conventional cuts. It is a fully automated process.
